About

My passion is to tell stories. I can talk anyone’s ear off about many topics and happenings, but I never realized what I had been doing all my life was training and developing my own style of storytelling. It wasn’t until a good friend of mine, during my years in graduate school, stopped me one day in the middle of one of these stories to tell me how much she looks forward to hearing them that I realized that, “Hey, maybe I have a knack for this.”

However, I never imagined I would have the opportunity to share many people’s stories with bigger audiences through writing. Now, I can’t imaginemy life without doing it.

Today,  I am an editorial professional who writes about art, artists, health, nutrition, food, weddings, local happenings, events, trends, and personal experiences. My work has appeared in OK magazine, Southern New England Weddings,  the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, South County Life magazine,  and Independent Newspapers. I have done ghost writing for doctors, realtors, a hotel, a pest control company, an alarm company, a fisherman, a contractor licensing company, and an airboat captain.

In addition to writing, I am really into fitness and nutrition. I enjoy reading and occasionally draw/paint when the mood strikes. If it’s creative, I’m there!

I earned my B.A. in English Communications from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island and my M.S. in Publishing from Pace University in Manhattan.
